Meghan Reed is a New York-based writer from Arkansas. She is a 2025 graduate of the NYU MFA program.

She served as the Fiction Editor for Washington Square Review, and was previously the Associate Fiction Editor for Jabberwock Review.

Her work can be found in the Oxford American where she won the 2022 debut fiction award, and in F(r)iction. Her short story, “Where the Animals Sleep at Night,” earned an honorable mention in the 2024 Pushcart Prize.
